We Believe

The Bible is the unchanging, inerrant, authoritative Word of God. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. ” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

There is only one true and living God, who "gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. " (John 3:16)

Salvation is not earned by our own merit, but by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

In the deity of Jesus Christ, his virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and anticipated return. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1) "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)

The sanctifying power of the baptism in the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for every believer. By indwelling in us, He enables us to live a holy and power-filled life for the Kingdom of God. "And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." (Acts 2:2-4) "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

CHARITY:“And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up…” (1 Corinthians 13:2:4)

INTEGRITY:“Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.” (Psalm 25:21) “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.” (Proverbs 11:3) “Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.” (Proverbs 19:1) “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.” (Proverbs 20:7)

UNITY:“If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 2:1-5)
